Properties:

The solid industry potassium hydroxide is grayish white, the bluish green, or the lavender; the liquid sort is faint yellow or the bluish purple. It is the strong alkali, has the strong corrosiveness, the density is 2.044, dissolved easily in water and emits the massive heat.

Applications:

Making potassium soap, shampoo in daily necessity chemical industry; producing sylvite such as potassium permanganate; it also used in such field , dye, drugs manufacture, galvanization, carving, lithography.
