Usage:

Dimethyl sulfate is one important chemical raw materials, it is used for organic synthesis as a source of methyl in order to replace halo hydrocarbon, widely applied for chemical, pharmacy, dyeing, military, spicery, rubble, leather industries an so on, for example preparation of dimethyl sulfoxide, caffeine, cortisone, vanillin, amidopyrine, trimrthoprim and pesticide acephate and so on.

Package and Storage:

Dimethyl sulfate is a great toxic chemicals, so it should be packed and transported carefully. The package container should be marked “Great Toxic”. The packing container must be airproof and hard. Tank truck or iron drum can be used as containers in long distance transportation, net weight per drum is 200kg .

Dimethyl sulfate must be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse and cannot be put outside in the air. During transportation and handling it must be carefully operated in case of breaking the packing container and it mustn't be transported and stored together with oxidant and hydride.
